Stretch Lab

When your existing frameworks run out, you need the capacity to hold your nerve. Stretch Lab is a dojo, not a classroom: a practice space for leaders and organisations in complexity.

How it works

Sessions are built around your context, not a generic curriculum. We work where leaders and teams habitually retreat, resolve too quickly, or go numb.

  • A scoping conversation to understand your context and whether Stretch Lab fits
  • Monthly four-hour sessions: structured, not scripted
  • A weekly thirty-minute pause practice between sessions, to turn insight into capacity
  • A closing session on what shifted, what remains, and how to carry the practice forward

The territory

  • Acting decisively without false certainty
  • Staying in productive conflict
  • Letting go of beliefs that no longer serve
  • Finding direction while moving
  • Working with what emerges

Who holds the space

Joanne Perold and Sonja Blignaut, present in every session. Stretch Lab is offered to a small number of organisations each year.

From the lab

  • Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this training. I have really enjoyed it and anticipate it will change my approach/ relationship to my work. (Which was my goal)

  • I loved the atmosphere, which I found inviting, safe, playful, and exploratory. The simulation was an unexpected yet appreciated piece. I loved the structure and elements and how you presented them and had us work with them. Great Job!
